Immrama is held in Lismore, County Waterford, Ireland on a weekend in June each year since 2003. Immrama has been dedicated to the art of Travel Writing, Good Music, and Fine Entertainment since its inception.

Winnie Fennel Festival.
A festival of music - mostly traditional- over the weekend remembering the name of a venerable publican where the musicians used to gather every first Friday in the month, (That honour passed to the Sportsman- Main Street, Cappoquin.
Date:
Last weekend in March each year.
Fun and frolicks around town as musicians pour into the hostelries for informal sessions. 3 minimum each day from lunch and a more formal concert in the Cappoquin Community Centre in the evenings.
Name:
Saint Patrick's Day Parade
Date; 17th March.
More fun and frolicking. Peter - this year intends to dress up as a French onion-seller to mark the 10th anniversary of Cappoquin twinning with Chanat La-Mouteyre, in France.
Afterwards he will be playing music in one of the local pubs.

CappoquinCappoquin Raft Race. Aug 30th Blackwater River Cappoquin Cappoquin Raft Race consists of rafts that may be sat upon, straddled, rowed, punted, sailed, stand up/sit down but NOT in. All forms of non motorised rafts are accepted and the race is open to all (races etc) there is a charge (€15,- I believe per raft) and all money goes to a local charity.
